I know Luna is no longer open but my family was patrons for the past 70 years my grandfather was close to the owners. Over the years I became friendly with Patsy who picked me and my girlfriend (now wife) out of the long line and said you don't wait in line. Miss those days! Well me and my girl are celebrating our 30 year of marriage this year and our 1st date was at Luna on 6/20/89.

This was an amazing restaurant me and my girlfriend ran into during our little stroll in Little Italy. The restaurant looked really cute with its white picket fence for outdoor seating and was properly following the rules based on COVID. The bread came fresh out of the oven and everything was so fresh and amazing! Even the owner Willie came to say hello to us and gave us a free pitcher of sangria! Everything about this establishment was wonderful and we can't wait to be back!

love their vegetable barley soup not too salty . It's tomato based like homemade with carrots and i think kale. If you find a better one let me know . The bread is really fresh!

Wandered into this place because the other spots nearby were too crowded. There was only one other party here, but they seemed to enjoy themselves as much as I did. The food was classically great. Portions were generous and the service was kind and thoughtful. Best of all, this place wasn't the least bit fussy or precious. Everything on my plates needed to be there. I was shocked to see such low ratings on yelp after the fact.

So cute! We came in with a party of 9, and we sat right away around lunch time on a Saturday. The wait staff was incredible, and the food was delightful! Their "cheese pizza" aka their margarita pizza was the traditional NY style, with a sweeter sauce, and the marinara that came with the cheese sticks - drool. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria for 3 of us and it was perfect, we each ended up with 2 glasses. Would definitely be back!
